Core21 (formerly Core Innovations / CMW Community Development Corporation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth empowerment organization founded by Cobby M. Williams in 2010. Headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, Core21 is dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved and at-risk youth through education support, mentorship programs, and career readiness training—not only in the United States but across the globe.

Operating in regions including the U.S., Africa, China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, Core21 designs and delivers innovative youth development programs that equip young people with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed in school, work, and life.

At the core of Core21’s mission is the belief that every young person has the potential to lead, regardless of their circumstances. Our targeted initiatives address critical social issues such as academic underperformance, juvenile delinquency, and youth unemployment by offering structured mentorship, skill-building workshops, and career pathway support that bridges the gap between education and employability.

Our programs are rooted in values of leadership, resilience, and inclusion, helping students improve academic performance, explore career options, and build personal and professional growth strategies. From digital literacy and vocational skills to leadership coaching and soft skill training, we provide youth with the tools they need to thrive in a fast-changing world.

Although Core21 began in Mississippi, our reach is now global. Our international projects span Africa, China, Myanmar, the UAE, and beyond—extending mentorship and educational access to marginalized youth in low-resource settings through culturally relevant and locally aligned solutions.

As a community-driven nonprofit, Core21 partners with schools, local businesses, governments, and other nonprofits to create a holistic support system for young people. Through collaboration and innovation, we empower youth to take charge of their future, become confident decision-makers, and lead change within their communities.
